1. Tell us about your role at EY.
As a Cybersecurity Manager at EY specializing in digital identity, I focus on Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM). My role balances delivery and strategic engagements, helping clients secure their customers’ identities in a seamless and secure way. I handle projects ensuring solutions meet compliance, security, and customer satisfaction standards, implementing features like multi-factor authentication and passwordless logins.

2. What is the most important lesson you’ve learned?
Adaptability and resilience are key. In cybersecurity, where threats and technologies evolve constantly, flexibility and a willingness to learn are crucial. Embracing challenges as growth opportunities has helped me both professionally and personally.

3. Why are you passionate about being a Women in Identity (WiD) volunteer?
I believe diversity fuels innovation. Being a woman in cybersecurity, I’m committed to creating an inclusive space where women feel empowered. Supporting WiD means advocating for gender diversity and helping to build solutions that work for everyone. Women’s unique perspectives are essential for secure, inclusive identity solutions.

4. What advice would you give to others in tech?
Be bold and persistent! Don’t let technical complexity intimidate you. Embrace challenges, ask questions, and remember your perspective is valuable. Tech’s future depends on diverse ideas.

5. What does diversity mean to you?
Diversity is about empowering everyone to contribute their strengths. It ensures representation and fairness in developing inclusive and resilient solutions.

6. Do you have any book or film recommendations?
I recommend Inside Out, as it explores the complexity of emotions and mental health, especially for women. It’s a reminder that emotional intelligence is a strength and encourages self-acceptance.
