Did you know that 1 in 4 women worldwide lack a valid ID? However, the identity gap isn’t just about gender—it disproportionately affects women of color, individuals with disabilities, older women, refugees, and marginalized communities. From facial recognition technologies exhibiting biases to inaccessible ID verification processes, these systemic barriers deny millions access to jobs, healthcare, banking, and mobility.

In support of raising awareness, Emma Lindley MBE (Board Chair), Dr Louise Maynard-Atem (Director), and Laura Barrowcliffe (Board Member) will undertake a 24-hour Peloton fundraiser, cycling from 6 AM on March 7th to 6 AM on March 8th.

This challenge is a true test of endurance. Emma, Louise, and Laura will push through extreme fatigue, sleep deprivation, and countless miles on the bike, all to raise awareness of identity exclusion and inequity. Every pedal stroke represents the resilience needed to drive real change.
