Workshop on Digital identity: Decentralized, anonymous, and global

11 July 2019, 2pm @ Bettina room, ANTON & LUISA Rooms & Creative Space, Wöhlertstraße 20, 10115 Berlin-Mitte

Today there are quite a number of progressive projects that would benefit greatly from formalizing identity on the Internet. It could allow for democratic voting and fair value distribution, free speech platforms without abuse, and privacy-preserving authentication. Neither government nor biometrics, social login nor SSI are able to cover all the essential criteria: uniqueness, humanity, anonymity, decentralization, and independence of a third party.

We want to discuss a digital identity framework without custody, that would be fully decentralized and would prove the humanness and uniqueness of its participants by running an AI-hard Turing test.

We hope to find like-minded people, to challenge and enrich the concept and identify the projects with synergies of focusing on humanness and uniqueness.

Participation is free, but please sign up for the event as space is limited to 20 people.
